New Ferretti Yachts 720 launched

The first model in the flybridge range built at the new production site in Ravenna features refined aesthetic choices and innovative solutions that enhance the “Just Like Home” concept, offering the pleasure of living on the water in style.

Ravenna, December 18, 2025 – The first Ferretti Yachts 720 unit, destined for the American market, was launched in November at the Ferretti Group shipyard in Ravenna, marking an important new production milestone. This yacht is the first model in the flybridge range to be built at the Group’s state-of-the-art production facility, which covers an area of 100,000 square metres.

Building on the success achieved in recent years, Ferretti Yachts 720 makes its debut in a completely redesigned version. While retaining the distinctive features of the previous generation, the model introduces refined aesthetic updates and new technical solutions, confirming the brand’s ongoing evolution. The project is the result of collaboration with architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior design and Ideaeitalia for the interiors.

With an overall length of 22.5 metres (73 ft 10 in) and a maximum beam of 5.60 metres (18 ft 4 in), Ferretti Yachts 720 was developed by the Product Strategy Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, in partnership with the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

The new model places even greater emphasis on on-board comfort, optimised spaces that close the gap with larger yachts, and a significant increase in storage capacity.

From an exterior design perspective, Ferretti Yachts 720 features a redefined profile with more extensive glazing in both the lounge and the master cabin, flooding the interiors with natural light. The new flybridge hard top increases shaded areas, while the redesigned gunwale further enhances the connection between interior and exterior spaces.

The Ideaeitalia team focused on evolving volumes and spatial connections, strengthening the visual dialogue with the exterior and enhancing the perception of the interiors, which are conceived for convivial and informal use. Carefully selected materials create a welcoming and elegant atmosphere, striking a balance between warmth and refinement.

On the main deck, there are three different access points to the lounge. The unit launched features a hinged door on the port side and two sliding doors to starboard, emphasising the continuity between indoor and outdoor areas. Upon entering the lounge, owners and guests are welcomed by two large sofas with cushions inspired by those found on larger yachts, significantly elevating comfort in the living area.

The Contemporary décor mood selected for the first unit features a fresh and modern colour palette, with light yet bold tones inspired by the sea.

Continuing along the main deck, one of the most significant innovations is the clear separation between the dining/living area and the galley/wheelhouse. This has been achieved through the introduction of a sliding glass door and an optional hi-lo window with an electronic opening mechanism, creating a semi-enclosed space that offers greater privacy and improves the overall on-board experience.

Additional innovations in the wheelhouse include a windscreen without a central pillar—now a distinctive brand feature—and new armchairs designed by Poltrona Frau. On this first unit, parquet flooring has been installed on the main deck and staircases.

The lower deck features a new layout with four comfortable cabins: a master suite and a VIP cabin, both with en-suite bathrooms, as well as two twin cabins, with the port-side twin on this unit fitted with sliding beds.

The master cabin includes a desk and chair on the port side, while opposite there is a comfortable sofa next to the walk-in wardrobe. The wardrobe is positioned behind the bed wall and separated from the sleeping area by a sliding door, adjacent to the private bathroom. Overall, storage capacity has been significantly increased.

The double crew cabin, accessed directly from the cockpit, includes a private bathroom, a laundry area and direct access to the engine room, combining functionality and practicality while optimising operational efficiency on board.

Storage has also been enhanced on the flybridge, with a large compartment located behind the pilot seats. On this first unit, the hard top features adjustable slats that can be set according to needs. Seating ergonomics in both the bow and stern areas have been improved for even greater comfort, and the yacht is equipped with a bow awning to provide shade during the hottest hours of the day.

The first Ferretti Yachts 720 unit is powered by twin MAN V12 engines delivering 1,400 hp each, for a maximum speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.

Preliminary data.

The yacht is also equipped with a Seakeeper NG10 gyroscopic stabiliser and the WATCHIT Anti-Grounding System.
