RIVA CENTO IS BORN: THE OPEN YACHT FOR COLLECTORS THAT CELEBRATES
Riva Cento: A Limited Edition That Rewrites a Legend
Sarnico, December 16, 2025 – Riva unveils Riva Cento, an exclusive limited edition yacht that both celebrates and reinterprets the timeless legacy of the iconic Sarnico-based shipyard. Produced in just twelve units, this collector’s open yacht blends Riva’s unmistakable elegance with contemporary design and advanced functionality.
Designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design—Riva’s long-standing creative partner—Riva Cento was developed in close collaboration with the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, alongside the Group’s Engineering Department. The result is a yacht that honours tradition while confidently embracing modernity.
Measuring 11.88 metres (39 ft) in length with a 3.50-metre beam, Riva Cento is defined by sleek, flowing lines and a distinctly sporty character. The twelve hulls are offered in two refined finishes: Fireworks Black, a sophisticated metallic shade that accentuates the yacht’s sculptural profile, or an elegant Light Grey Aluminium. Completing the aesthetic, ribbed leather upholstery—evoking classic automotive design of the 1950s and ’60s—is available in Biscuit or Aquamarine and White, a colour palette shared with the celebrated Riva Anniversario.
One of Riva Cento’s standout features is the stern, where an electro-hydraulic system opens the transom to reveal integrated mahogany steps and two chaise longues, transforming the area into a refined beach club. Additional storage compartments discreetly house fenders and a Seabob, while a fully integrated retractable gangway ensures effortless boarding. Underwater lighting enhances both atmosphere and functionality during night-time manoeuvres.
The deck layout has been meticulously designed for comfort and versatility. A generous midship sunpad leads to an inviting cockpit furnished with a C-shaped sofa surrounding a stainless-steel table topped with glossy lacquered mahogany. The table lowers flush with the seating to create a second sunpad, while a retractable electro-hydraulic bimini offers shade when needed. Storage solutions are seamlessly integrated throughout, including cocktail preparation areas, refrigeration, a sink and worktop, and insulated coolers—ensuring everything is within reach without compromising elegance.
At the helm, twin pilot seats and a co-pilot chair face 15- and 24-inch Boening displays, providing complete control over navigation, propulsion, stabilisation and entertainment systems. Manoeuvrability is enhanced by a Volvo Penta joystick and electric bow thruster, while the iconic Riva searchlight—an homage to Aquarama and Aquariva—takes pride of place on the windscreen.
Exterior detailing further reinforces the connection between past and future. The traditional air-intake grille has been reimagined as a steel profile with a polished mahogany insert, engraved with the Riva name and star motif—a subtle tribute to the brand’s heritage. Forward, a redesigned stainless-steel horn casing and a larger central windscreen increase natural light below deck.
The interiors offer a bright, open environment designed for both day cruising and overnight stays. The lower deck features a fully equipped galley, a bathroom with separate shower, and a bow lounge that converts effortlessly into a double berth. Enlarged side windows and a newly designed skylight flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 440 Aquamatic Duoprop DPI engines, Riva Cento reaches a top speed of 40 knots and cruises comfortably at 31 knots (preliminary data). Advanced Volvo Penta software optimises trim and efficiency, while the Seakeeper NG6 gyroscopic stabiliser, fitted as standard, ensures exceptional comfort both underway and at anchor.
Riva Cento made its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, reaffirming Riva’s ability to reinterpret its heritage with confidence, precision and unmistakable style.
