CUSTOM LINE SAETTA 128′: ELEGANCE AND SPACIOUSNESS ON THREE DECKS,
EXCLUSIVE DESIGN AND ULTIMATE LIVEABILITY
The new planing tri-deck featuring sleek, sporty lines offers generous spaces,
panoramic terraces and perfect continuity between the interiors and exteriors
Ancona, November 25, 2025 – Custom Line Saetta 128’ is the new made-to-measure
prototype in the Saetta line, which embraces all the brand’s planing yachts. A tri-deck yacht
with a dynamic and sporty profile, she is currently under construction and her launch and
delivery are planned for 2026 at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.
She features new exterior styling and interior design, as well as offering generous spaces
characterised by top-tier comfort and refinement on a yacht with a length overall of 39.80
m, a maximum beam of 7.69 m and a planing hull under 300 GT. Custom Line Saetta 128’ is
the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Department led by Piero Ferrari
and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, which provides consolidated expertise
embracing design, planning, engineering and the use of latest generation materials, as well
as developing cutting-edge solutions in terms of performance and safety at sea.
The exterior styling is by SY Design and the interiors are by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio
Patricia Viel, with strategic consulting from Custom Line Atelier, the team of in-house
architects who define the spaces, style and customisation of each yacht ordered by
Custom Line customers.
Custom Line Saetta 128′ is the result of a strategy that aims to extend the brand’s offering of
planing yachts, combining style, performance, versatility and personalisation in every area.
Designed to maximise on-board liveability, the yacht optimises the distribution of space
across all the decks, combining aesthetics and functionality.
The sleek, dynamic profile is accentuated by a sloping stern that gives it a strong
personality, while the extensive screen-printed glazing in the salons points up the
understated design and enhances the sense of connection with the surrounding
environment. The layout favours generous, eclectic solutions in which interior and exterior
settings interact in perfect harmony.
“Custom Line Saetta 128’ perfectly embodies our approach to growth, raising the level of
every project and in this case extending a hugely successful range while maximising its
strong points. We want to offer Custom Line owners ever higher standards of well-being,
liveability and personalisation of the onboard experience. Custom Line Saetta 128’
combines innovation, construction quality and meticulously tailored detailing in a
magnificent tri-deck that is unique in the world of high-end yachting,” said Giordano
Pellacani, Chief Commercial Officer at Ferretti Group.
“We’re honoured to be working with Custom Line on this first, exciting project. We were
hugely motivated by the challenge of creating a new tri-deck model, but one with sporty,
dynamic lines because Custom Line Saetta 128’ has a planing hull, an unprecedented
choice for a yacht this size. Our goal was to innovate the distinctive features of the range
and integrate new character traits that can act as a springboard for the future,” said SY
Design founders Matteo Sassone and Veronica Yien.
“The interior design is perfectly in sync with the signature sleek hull lines of the Saetta Line.
The flowing design of the window frames and ceiling cut-outs, taken together with the sleek
lines of the custom-built furnishings and freestanding pieces, gives the project a strong sense
of dynamism. The construction details are at once basic and refined, featuring exquisite
cabinetry and a meticulously tailored approach. The clean, pared-down lines tap into
tradition, reinterpreted through contemporary language and timeless elegance,” says
Patricia Viel, architect and co-founder of ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
Two distinct moods define the interior concept of the Custom Line Saetta 128’, each with its
own personality and its own specific choice of materials.
The Perfect Mood is a rich and sophisticated composition: surfaces that make space for
chocolate and mocha-coloured lacquer, fine walnut and maple parquet for the floors,
white marble such as Sivec, and ivory wallpaper with a three-dimensional texture that
captures light and amplifies depth. It’s an extremely refined language, one that uses
carefully selected finishes and techniques to create sophisticated, indulgent settings.
The Classic Mood takes shape from the Perfect Mood and its richness: a more basic and
balanced aesthetic, featuring woods such as oak and wallpapers with a more linear
pattern, plus smooth and welcoming surfaces. Here the details are measured and the
proportions harmonious, creating an overall effect that conveys a sense of warmth and
contemporary comfort while maintaining the brand’s distinctive elegance.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
The three-deck layout is designed to offer the ultimate in comfort and open-air lifestyle, with
clear separation between guest and service areas, while the convivial settings create a
continuum between interiors and exteriors.
One of the standout features on Custom Line Saetta 128′ is the exclusive upper deck
concept, which features a sky lounge with an additional closed salon of about 20 square
metres, located on the same level as the wheelhouse and looking out over a stern terrace
covering a total of 40 square metres. The terrace, which can be tailored according to the
owner’s requirements and lifestyle, has a section shaded by the sundeck superstructure,
which guarantees protection but without sacrificing the panoramic view. A large sliding
door connects the terrace to the sky lounge, where the salon, surrounded on three sides by
windows that can be opened, creates immersive continuity between the sky and the sea,
accentuating the sense of space and freedom. The 25 sqm area in the bow features a large
U-shaped sofa with built-in storage, plus a sunbathing area transformed by the new deck
layout into a refined relaxation and socialising space, as well as an optional wellness area
with a whirlpool tub.
Spacious terraces are also features of the 30 sqm sundeck, which is designed for al fresco
relaxation, with sun loungers and furnishings that allow maximum customisation. This area is
the ideal place to enjoy the sea view in total privacy, from a privileged vantage point where
you can spend the whole day.
The main deck too is designed to maximise comfort and create spaces for rest and
entertainment. The generous 33 sqm cockpit features a structural sofa, ideal for socialising,
built into the transom. At the stern of the yacht, on the lower deck, a multipurpose area can
accommodate two water toys, such as a Williams DieselJet 565 and a jet ski, and be
extended with a water’s edge swim platform.
The 40 sqm main deck salon also contains the dining area, creating a refined and functional
setting. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let natural light flood in and point up visual
continuity with the exterior. The large side windows in the dining area amplify the perception
of space without interrupting the view of the sea, made even more magical by the
alternation between ivory-coloured surfaces with flowing linen textures and more saturated
wood inserts. This refined chiaroscuro interplay adds depth and architectural rhythm,
pointing up the elegance of the spaces.
The galley is accessed through a pantry area on the port side of the salon, while on the
starboard side the lobby leads to the sleeping area and the owner’s suite, ensuring optimal
distribution between convivial areas and private spaces. The 37 sqm owner’s suite has a
striking avant-garde design, with a central bed, a dressing area aft and two bathrooms
connected by an extra-large shower cubicle.
In addition to the master suite, Custom Line Saetta 128’ has four more cabins on the lower
deck – three VIP and one guest – accommodating a total of 10 passengers and 6 crew
members, including the captain.
The interior design concept is shaped by the distinctive exterior styling, which features sleek
and powerful lines that express speed, dynamism and energy.
In the interiors, this signature feature is translated into furnishings with flowing geometries and
suspended solutions that are consistent with the exterior architecture. It can be found, for
example, in the bespoke furnishings – think desks, beds and containers – in the sofas and
armchairs with their light-touch, suspended bases, and in the wall panelling and ceilings,
where the spaces are dynamically framed by an elusive and refined border. The result is a
consistent and harmonious whole in which volumes and surfaces seem to float, creating a
sense of lightness and continuity with the yacht’s silhouette.
PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY
Equipped with two 2,638 hp MTU D13 M96L engines, Custom Line Saetta 128’ reaches a top
speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. At economy cruising speed (11 kn), the
yacht has a range of 1,000 nautical miles, optimising fuel efficiency for extended cruises
(preliminary data). The yacht’s planing hull ensures high performance, delivering a perfect
trade-off between power and efficiency. Cruising comfort is optimised by trim interceptors
and stabilizer fins, with gyroscopic stabilizers available for installation on request to further
reduce rolling.
An important factor is that the yacht can be certified according to IMO Tier III regulations.
This certification, obtained by implementing an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system,
reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by up to 70%, in line with Ferretti Group’s
commitment to environmental sustainability. IMO Tier III regulations are applied to ships
operating in designated Emissions Control Areas (ECA), with the aim of improving air quality
in coastal areas and ports.
Featuring cutting-edge technology, the helm station is designed to provide an intuitive and
technologically advanced piloting experience, ensuring maximum control and safety in all
weather conditions.
