INFYNITO 80 launched by Ferretti Yachts
Ferretti Yachts has launched the first INFYNITO 80 at its new production site in Ravenna, Italy. The 23.7-metre yacht will make her world premiere at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
The model builds on the INFYNITO 90’s “environmental friendliness, unprecedented flexibility and innovative layout”. This includes the return of the popular “all-season” terrace, sheltered by an extension to the superstructure for “total privacy and protection in all weather conditions”. Exterior design is by Filippo Salvetti, while her interiors are owed to IdeaeITALIA.
Accommodation is across a 43-square-metre master cabin, a VIP cabin and two guest cabins. There are further quarters for three crew.
“From lamellar teak to regenerated leather and other recyclable materials, everything is designed to offer a yachting experience that fully respects the environment,” said Davide Bernardini and Alessio Battistini of IdeaeITALIA. “Not to mention the iconic Ferretti Yachts moods: ‘classic’, which taps into earthy elements, and ‘contemporary’, featuring glowing woods and fabrics in fresh hues inspired by the colours of the sea.” The first unit has opted for the contemporary style.
Measuring 29 square metres, the main saloon features either a dining room or a show kitchen with bar counter and stools. The yacht’s main galley is at the forward end of the main deck, with an electrically operated sliding glass door providing direct access to the all-season terrace.
Another major change is seen in the upper deck, which was closed on the INFYNITO 90 but “totally open” on this unit. An outdoor galley and sunbathing area complete with free-standing furniture and sunloungers is found aft.
Meanwhile, the beach area benefits from a dedicated 18 square metres of space, a “sea view sofa” and storage unit. There is also a stern platform with a linear lift for launching and hauling the yacht’s tender.
The Group’s F.S.E.A. technology (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture) has also been utilised for the new series. The “environmentally friendly” package includes photovoltaic hardtop panelling, an energy bank comprising 14 high-density lithium batteries and “green materials” such as water-based paints and lamellar teak with FSC 5 certification.
“After INFYNITO 90, we developed the range’s second model with the aim of retaining some of this design’s unique and inimitable characteristics, while also adding new features tailored for a project of a different size,” explained designer Filippo Salvetti. “We’re proud to present INFYNITO 80, a solution with above-average covered exterior space, enabling owners to enjoy the yacht in all seasons and weather conditions but without sacrificing direct contact with the sea, the surrounding environment or the sun.”
Equipped with twin MAN V12 engines, INFYNITO 80 can reach a top speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 17 knots and a range of 1,200 nautical miles with its “new high-efficiency hull”.
Acquired in March 2023, the shipyard’s Ravenna site will be fully operational from 2025 and is now home to five production lines for the Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands.
